Privacy policy
This page explains what happens to the data you enter in the contact form or when booking a call on baranowski.ai.
Who processes your data
The data controller is Damian Baranowski AI, ul. Księcia Mieszka I 20D/16, 61-689 Poznań, Tax ID (NIP) 5070104894. For data enquiries, contact: damian@baranowski.ai, phone +48 788 538 098.
What data I collect
- Contact form: first name, business or industry, phone number or email address, website or Google profile URL (if you request a free mini audit), message content and, if provided, how you heard about me.
- Call booking: full name, phone number, email address, notes and selected time.
- Technical data: the IP address seen by the server when the website checks my booking system for the next available call time, and for protection against spam and abuse. This request does not contain your details or store cookies.
- Analytics: with your consent, Google Analytics collects information about the pages visited, your device and browser, approximate location, referral source (such as a Google ad) and whether you booked a call or sent a message. It does not receive message content, your name, phone number or email address. Without consent, the Google tag sends only basic signals without cookies or identifiers.
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply or book a call.
Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your message and preparing a proposal — at your request, before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Booking a call and sending a reminder — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- A free mini audit of your website or Google profile that you request — at your request, before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Protecting the website against spam — my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Visitor statistics and checking the performance of my Google ads — your consent given in the banner (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Basic cookieless signals when you have not consented (Google Consent Mode) — my legitimate interest in measuring overall website and advertising performance (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing the address above. This does not affect earlier data processing. I do not carry out profiling or send a newsletter.
Retention period
Form messages and bookings in the database are automatically deleted after 12 months. Call entries in my Google Calendar remain after bookings are deleted from the database; they are not covered by automatic deletion after 12 months. I delete them manually when they are no longer needed to organise calls. IP addresses stored for rate limiting are deleted after 24 hours. I keep email correspondence for as long as it is needed to discuss working together. If we sign a contract, I retain billing documents for the period required by tax regulations. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, and Google Analytics cookies expire after no more than 13 months.
Who I entrust with your data
- Cloudflare — website hosting, the form and booking database (stored in the European Union), bot protection (Turnstile) and anonymous visitor statistics (Web Analytics).
- Resend — sending confirmation and reminder emails.
- Zoho — my email inbox (data centre in the European Union).
- Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement (full measurement only with your consent), Google Calendar, which receives booked calls (name, phone number, email address, notes, time and call format: phone or Google Meet), and Google Meet, used for video calls.
Some of these companies may process data outside the European Economic Area. This is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Email damian@baranowski.ai. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
Cookies
Every page includes a Google Analytics tag in Google Consent Mode. Until you click “Accept”, it does not store cookies or recognise you on return visits. Google receives only basic signals without cookies or identifiers (such as a page view), which it uses for aggregate estimates. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits without cookies, storing data in your browser or identifying you. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) may use technically necessary browser data.
If you click “Accept” in the banner, Google Analytics will store the cookies _ga and _ga_M4L5VDGPL1 (which recognise return visits from the same browser). I store your choice in your browser’s storage so I do not ask on every visit. I do not use ads tailored to your browsing history (remarketing).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: (the same button appears in the footer of every page). When you withdraw consent, I remove Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
